Appraisal Experience and Skills
The CMMI Institute has a record of an applicant’s participation as an appraisal team member on either two SCAMPI B appraisals, or one SCAMPI A appraisal and one SCAMPI B appraisal within 24 months prior to desired training. At the CMMI Institute’s sole discretion, alternative appraisal experience may be allowed as a substitute for SCAMPI experience.

Organizations may arrange an on-site offering of the course if they are able to meet enrollment requirements by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Certified appraisers who have already attended SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training do not need to retake the course for this certification.

- If an interpreter is required, the candidate’s organization is responsible for obtaining, and providing payment of, a CMMI Institute-approved interpreter
The observer will provide you with feedback at the conclusion of the observation and will provide the required information to the CMMI Institute for your candidate observation package.
The CMMI Institute will notify the candidate of certification status as a SCAMPI B&C Team Leader and furnish a certificate when certified. For observations that are unsatisfactory, the CMMI Institute will provide the candidate with feedback and, if necessary, the steps for remediation.
