Presentation Title: CMMI for Improved Predictive Analysis and Decision Support System
Presentation Summary: NeST's two CMMI ML5 facilities operate our population prediction software (PPS) in a SaaS model. PPS calculates the real-time population at any location, utilizing CMMI CAR and DAR. Population range and confidence intervals are initially calculated from basal census. Then they are iteratively calibrated to higher precisions through causal analysis of public domain data like social media, weather, video cameras, license plates, etc. DAR specific practices are then employed to provide decision support intelligence. PPS has wide business applications (Ex: demographic studies) and even tactical applications (Ex: deploying USAR teams - for urban search and rescue - in disaster aftermaths).
