Esther Torrego joined the Accenture management consulting practice in 1999 as her first job, working for several CMT clients in large national and international transformation programs. In 2007 she moved to the quality department and was involved in different quality programs, as PMO and QPIL (Quality process improvement liason) to CMT SPAILA CMMI3 initiative, participating as Appraisal team member and other related roles for four years. After leading PMO in a diamond client for two years, she coordinated Accenture Industrialization and Innovation Program in SPAI and in 2016 became Spain Advanced Technology Center DEX Lead.

SDC CMMI journey: Key Factors for Sustained Level 5 Success
Our Next Generation Delivery and Innovation Center in Spain provides services through a network of 2100+ professionals working in 8 locations. We started our trip at CMMI in 1999 and since 2003 we have maintained level 5. We have passed the last SCAMPI in July 2017. Our main challenge to address is the continued growth of the center. Since 2014 we have increased 25% the number of projects managed and 80% the amount of resources working in our units. Today we have more than 60 active managed projects. We must also maintain the focus on optimizing and seeking efficiency with our process assets, sustaining the institutionalization.
