Presentation Title: How CMMI Best Practices can be employed with Agile Techniques to Meet the US GAO Requirements

Presentation Summary: The Government Accountability Office (GAO) identified 14 challenges with adapting and applying Agile in the federal environment based on an analysis of experiences collected from five federal agencies that had applied Agile to a development effort. Although the GAO identified 10 effective practices for applying Agile, they also identified 14 challenges with applying it. What can be done to overcome these challenges? This presentation uncovers how the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) can answer and satisfy these challenges of Agile application and integration.
