Organizational Transformation and Improvement

To predict expected process performance, PPM is established from historic data for software projects in YTE. Model predicts the number of post release defects in main version and patches reported from end-user by a number of controllable attributes. Model serves to feed PPQO prediction for next release by using the connection between Defect Detection Percentage and Number of Defects by End Users. Model is run after systems tests are completed and before the work product is released. According to model, PM decides if product will be released. Model implementation is aligned with YTE's Constantly Improving, on Time, on Budget and High Quality Software Development business objective.
