Raghavendra Mithare is passionate about empowering individuals and teams through coaching. He started his career as Process and Quality Analyst, helping project teams to use the best software engineering methods and tools. Later supported organisations in adopting best practices of software engineering,Rational Unified Process implementations, managing software quality assurance. He has also done multiple enterprise wide CMMI adoptions and participated in SCAMPI-A appraisals before focusing on Agile transformations. Currently he is based in London and does consulting and coaching for Agile adoptions. He is a certified and credentialed coach (ACC) from ICF and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance.

Presentation Title: CMMI and Agile – Ontological Perspective

Presentation Summary: Agile software development has revolutionized the way software is developed and delivered. At the same time CMMI has evolved with stable models like Dev, SVC and Acq constellations. At one end CMMI models can provide stable framework for scaling agile methods at the other end CMMI implementation can be made "agile" by being agile not just doing it. In this session we will explore ontological perspectives in implementing CMMI in an true "agile" way taking practices from Agile.
