Presentation Title: Achieving Quality and Increasing Performance with CMMI and TSP
Presentation Summary: CMMI guides process improvement projects within organizations. Although many organizations achieve returns on investment in their process improvement projects, level of success may vary based on organizational quality's culture, human capital, IT support, and process effectiveness. Moreover, the following aspects may jeopardize the process improvement initiative: trusted data recording, logging and analyzing defect data, correct use of data, building project data from individual data, feeling part of the team, and barely improving product quality and performance. The talk discusses how using principles of the Team Software Process (TSP) can help to address the aspects mentioned above in high performance teams.
