Steve Moulder is a Process Engineer Advisor at National Government services. Steve has 38 years experience in various Information Technology roles from Programmer to Analyst and Project Manager to managing a large software development organization. Since 2004 he has worked in CMMI and Process Improvement full-time. Steve has a BA in Math from Cedarville University and a MS Ed from Indiana University. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence, Professional Scrum Master, and certified in ITIL Foundations. Steve is also an Adjunct Instructor in Math at IVY Tech State College.

Presentation Title: The High Maturity Journey of Next Generation Desktop Development
Presentation Summary: This presentation discusses the experiences of the Next Generation Desktop (NGD) Development Team moving from CMMI-Dev Maturity Level 3 to Level 5. It describes the first attempts at collecting and analyzing data to develop a Predictive Process Performance Model, problems encountered with that first Model and the CAR conducted to address those problems, and development of a new Predictive Process Model. It describes Continuous Improvements to the Model and related improvements in Key Process Measures. It concludes with planned Next Steps and Lessons Learned.
