Criterion Systems Appraised At CMMI Level 3

VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Criterion Systems is pleased to announce that the company has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®). The appraisal was performed by Acme Process Group. This achievement marks Criterion’s most recent milestone in enhancing its quality processes and customer-focused service delivery.

“Criterion continues to invest in maturing the company’s quality and business practices to ensure our customers benefit from decreased project costs, increased schedule predictability, and improved product quality”

Criterion, a systems integrator providing innovative, technology-enabled business solutions to government agencies, demonstrated Level 3 compliance with CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) v1.3 (Continuous) during an independent appraisal. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

"Criterion continues to invest in maturing the company’s quality and business practices to ensure our customers benefit from decreased project costs, increased schedule predictability, and improved product quality,” said Promod Sharma, president and CEO of Criterion. “In today’s competitive market, government agencies are looking for reliable industry partners that combine demonstrated experience with process maturity.
