McKesson Specialty Health REMS Appraised at CMMI Level 2


McKesson Specialty Health announced today that its Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) program has been appraised at Level 2 of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. The appraisal was performed by the McKesson office of the CTO. "I can't be more excited about this achievement," said Doug Lawrence, VP of REMS, Reimbursement, Access and Safety Services (RA&SS), McKesson Specialty Health. "Being appraised CMMI Level 2 shows the importance we at McKesson Specialty Health place on the quality of work we produce." Being rated at CMMI Level 2 means McKesson Specialty Health can deliver products and services to customers at lower costs as well as ensure on-time delivery, superior quality and higher customer satisfaction. For healthcare providers, being appraised at CMMI Level 2 means McKesson Specialty Health is able to implement and administer REMS programs at a more efficient and superior level to improve patient access to important medicines.
