AFS and H&PS NA US Public Service projects provide consulting and outsourcing services to US Federal, State, & Local government clients. These business units work with government agencies, helping them transform to meet the demands of citizens and businesses. They typically work with defense, intelligence, revenue, health and human services, justice, postal, treasury, homeland security, education and electoral authorities, and our clients are Federal and state/provincial/local-level government organizations, cities, provinces, and other municipalities. AFS and H&PS NA US Public Service are customer-driven organizations providing services to public and individual customers as well as internal business unit customers. Customer: AFS (federal) and Accenture State, Provincial & Local and Public Health Agencies have some separate processes used by the projects and the employees on the projects
Type of Work: Multi-model appraisal already divides the projects by type of work. Most projects fall under two high level types of work: Development (includes maintenance) and Service Delivery (includes IT operations). The Accenture Methodology is organized by development work and service delivery.
