The R&D Department is responsible for the development of software products. It undertake software development and testing. The R&D Department along with Quality Management Department and Training (part of Human Resource Department) is considered as Organizational Unit. They execute software development projects following Waterfall Life Cycle. The R&D Department completed 2 development projects and 1 project currently going on. EPG performs process management activities, Quality Management Department performs auditing activities, and Training (part of Human Resource Department) performs the Training activities for OU.
Customer: R&D Department develops software for Government and Enterprise clients. In all the basic units, standard process defined at organization level with minor tailoring is followed. No significant changes observed in the processes followed by these projects for different customers. But ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is considered for project selection.
