A comprehensive IT tool designed for Air Force Voluntary Education and is used by Active Duty, Reservists, National Guard, and Civilians. The web-based application is a complex enterprise system containing a suite of sub-systems aimed at providing robust capabilities at all levels. AFAEMS provides services to 735,000 personnel worldwide and is the official system of record for Air Force Voluntary Education. It maintains the accountability tool for the tuition assistance program and delivers self-service tools to Airmen 24/7. It also provides business solution integration with 4,800 academic institutions. It maintains an interface with Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), DoDMOU, DANTES, and academic institutions.
