This Activity was born to manage the STEP-format exchanges that replaced the existing AECMA exchanges until 2001. The evolution of this Activity has expanded the type of STEP exchanges between the different Eurofighter partners and has also developed non-STEP exchanges with the former CASSIDIAN-Germany. • Among the former (STEP exchanges) are the following: 1. Modification data exchange (CM) 2. Exchange of Design Structure with the associated electronic model (PS) 3. Exchange of Design Build Standard reports (DBSs). The DBS exchange was finalized and tested but is not used by any of the 4 partners. • Regarding the second type of exchanges, there are the following: 1. Exchange of Waivers, data and associated files. 2. Exchange of TALARION documents. Exchanges completed and tested but not being used. The following was also developed in the first months of 2012 3. XML Exchange for Modifications of the TALARION. Since this program was stopped, it is not being used either.
