The Software Engineering Department is mainly engaged in the development and testing of embedded software of engine control system. The OU has a long process improvement history. The team leader led its CMMI DEV 1.3 ML3 and ML 4 appraisals in 2014 and 2016 respectively, OU's work on using PPMs was presented in CI's Capability Count Conference in 2017. TL has conducted many training in OU in the past 10 years and have a good understanding on OU's context. OU is considered a leading org in process and quality area in its community.
