The OU - Project Development Department focuses on producing smart, intelligent software solutions for customer requirements. The Project Development Department (OU) is responsible for providing the software solutions, application development and technological capabilities in order to address, execute and support the business requirements of the company. The Project Development Department (OU) is responsible for the overall end-to-end implementation of the life-cycle functions such as Project Management, Requirements Management, Design, Coding, Testing leading to implementation. The life-cycle followed across projects is Waterfall. The primary customer base for Project Development Department (OU) is external Government customers cutting across domains such as real estate, urban planning, utilities etc. The key focus is on smart city solutions that can enable efficiency, effectiveness and monitoring capabilities in the public domain. Technologies such as advanced analytics, big data, IOT and AI are being used towards achieving the objective of producing smart, intelligent software solutions aligned with emerging industry trends. Some of the high priority characteristics for software solutions include Innovation, quality, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The OU - Project Development Department executes work that involves both Web based and Mobile based Application projects.
Type of Work: The Software Development focuses on two type of development work that leads to some differences in the way processes are applied. These two development types are 1. Web based Applications 2. Mobile based Applications.
Mobile based Application Development: These are basic units (projects) that involve software development for Mobile applications.
Web based Application Development: These basic units (projects) involve software development for Web based applications.
