The Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has recently implemented a new Appian-based Compliance Management System (CMS) built on the DOL IT Platform (DOLITP). In addition to CMS production Operation & Maintenance (O&M), OFCCP continues to develop new capabilities and functionalities to meet business needs. The scope of work is to validate and refine Complaints and Constructions functional requirements from OFCCP product owner, to develop and test a solution based on the requirements and implement the solution into the CMS production environment once successfully passed user acceptance testing (UAT) and approved by the business owner. The case management requirements focus on the core activities of managing the full lifecycle of an OFCCP construction evaluation and complaints investigation. The case management lifecycle starts with picking a case or case creation, moves on to assignment and casework, and ends with case closure. Case management will enable OFCCP staff to assign cases, track assignments, file and organize documents, enter case notes, perform progress and status oversight, complete milestones, prepare case documentation, and Support Supply and Service Compliance Check case.

The AEMF contains tasks targeting the expansion of Apprenticeship Programs tasks related to the development and dissemination of innovative tools that support the rapid expansion and modernization of apprenticeships across the nation. Modernization of the current paper-based determination process for apprentice able occupations. This electronic tool will streamline the workflow end-to-end, starting with a public-facing submission request form, dashboard for OA staff to assign and manage requests, collection of industry reviews, and OA review/approval process. Other features include canned reports, document archive, and industry reviewer contact list. The tool will also improve public visibility of new or updated occupations via integration with Apprenticeship.gov and help in Apprenticeship Programs

Division of Indian and Native American Programs (DINAP) Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Section 166 grantees and the Department of Labor share a vision of providing quality employment and training services to tribes, tribal organizations, Alaska Native entities, Indian controlled organizations, and Native Hawaiian organizations serving unemployed and low-income Native Americans, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians. Designed primarily to provide general information and assistance to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Section 166 Indian and Native American (INA) grantees and others that are interested in economic self-sufficiency through employment and job training programs for Native Americans. The section 166 programs are designed to support employment and training activities in order to develop more fully the academic, occupational, and literacy skills; make individuals more competitive in the workforce and promote economic and social development in accordance with the goals and values of such communities. These programs are administered in a way that not only meets regulatory requirements but also in ways that are consistent with the traditional cultural values and beliefs of the people they are designed to serve.
