OU is involved in executing software development projects which are focussed on production scheduling, leakage control, big data BI, metering center, GIS geographic information system, hydraulic model, etc. Responsibilities of the software department (OU) covers below activities: 1. Responsible for early-stage technical investigation, planning and layout of software project development 2. Responsible for the analysis, design and overall planning of software project 3. Prepare software project development plans, develop technical schemes, identify and control project risks 4. Effectively monitor the project progress and perform testing to control the whole process 5. Responsible for communicating with customers, effectively manage customer demand, solve quality and management problems encountered during the process of project development
Customer: Primarily projects are executed for internal and external customers both. Hence this can have a bearing on process execution.
Internal: Projects catering to internal product development initiatives
External: Projects catering to requirements coming from external customers
