LOGMOD is an on-line system providing Air Force (AF), MAJCOMs, Base-Level Logistics Planners, and Base-Level Unit Deployment Managers (UDMs) the capability to plan and execute deployment, reception, and redeployment of Air Force operations worldwide. LOGMOD is crucial for logistics planners and UDMs to plan for worldwide deployment of personnel, supplies, and equipment to meet various exercises, contingencies, and wartime tasking's. LOGMOD enables the maintenance of combat units' materiel and personnel in constant deployment readiness. LOGMOD also provides local Commanders a more comprehensive Command and Control tool, allowing the Air Force to better manage assets and deploying services on or off base.
