The Research and Development Center focuses on data center software development. With its long-term technology and practice accumulation, it has formed the ability to serve both upstream and downstream customers in the data center industry chain, and formed a complete service system.
Type of Work: All projects under this OU work on development and enhancement of software applications for parent organization i.e. Beijing Asiacom Information Technology Co., Ltd.. Thus all projects are internal in nature. However depending upon specific requirements from management and other stakeholders, this type of work is either for creating "company management" software applications or "cloud data management applications". This difference in the Type of Work affects RDM, TS, PI, EST, PLAN, MC, CM, V&V and MPM.
Company Management Software: These are internal projects that have the end product as software applications for catering to functions like work order allocation, processing, tracking, statistics, sales management, data intelligence, tracking, procurement and knowledge base.
Cloud Data Management Software: These are internal projects that have the end product as software applications for catering to cloud data management applications for catering to: cloud metadata management, cloud resource and business management, computing, storage, elastic computing, on-demand configuration, free network, and resource isolation for business applications.
