The R&D department is responsible for software development by using big data, Java，Mysql techniques. All the products are deployed in the cloud, users can access the system from anywhere through various terminal devices. There are 3 sub groups in R&D department, Project management office, Quality management group and development department. There are two types of development lifecycle models are used in projects. Most of the projects using Agile, however, some important products development projects are using waterfall lifecycle to avoid risks. The management of R&D department keep investing in process improvement for many years. Scrum, CMMI and some other management models are introduced into the company for many years. Standard process, management platform and knowledge repository are established and deployed in the whole department.
Lifecycle: There are two types of life cycle model is used in the organization: 1.Agile. 2.Waterfall. The process of these two types of projects are different.
Agile: The projects that are using agile lifecycle model.
Waterfall: The projects that are using waterfall lifecycle.
