The OU (Software Development Division of UVJ Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) specializes in custom software development in Life Science, Web Applications, and Mobile Technologies. Software Development Division executes development projects following Waterfall and Agile Life Cycle. Software Development Division along with SEPG, SQA and Training functions are considered as Organizational Unit. At present 4 projects are going on. SEPG perform process management, SQA perform auditing activities, while Training Function fulfills training requirements of the OU. Total No of people covered in OU including projects and support functions is 38

Agile Scrum: Software Development work using Agile Scrum methodology for software development. Agile methods break tasks into small increments with minimal planning. Iterations are short time frames (time boxes) that typically last fort two weeks. Each iteration involves a team working through a full software development cycle including planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and acceptance testing when a working product is demonstrated to stakeholders. Multiple iterations may be required to release a product or new features.

Waterfall: Software Development work using Waterfall Life Cycle. The phases in Waterfall lifecycle are: Requirements Analysis, Software Design, Coding ,Testing & Maintenance. In a waterfall model, each phase must be completed before the next phase can begin
