OU Description

The OU provides IT development and technical support to the US DoD. For the Services side, the eMH (electronic Military Housing) Support Office functions to include Customer Support (on shift, taking calls, answering emails) and Training / Travel (going on site to offer training or doing remote training sessions). Software and systems development spans approximately 25 modules within eMH, many of which are in maintenance status. On the Development side, as you know, we have development efforts broken out by each module within eMH. There are 25 modules that follow the same set of core processes and documentation including overall architecture and code base. The team members also overlap. There are two large primary active modules which cover over 70% of the development staff: Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) module and Unaccompanied Housing Module. We will combine the modules in maintenance status into a third group so we can randomly explore the remaining projects.
