OU Description

Technology Group is involved technical development work for MFS Africa This group develops systems and services which connect multiple mobile networks to disburse mobile money payments and collection as well . Technology Group executes development projects following Agile Life Cycle. Technology Group along with SEPG, SQA and PEPOPS(Training) functions are considered as Organizational Unit. At present 2 projects are going on. SEPG perform process management, SQA perform auditing activities, while PEPOPS(Training Function) fulfills training requirements of the OU.

Relevant Sampling Factors

Lifecycle : All Projects follow Agile Life Cycle. Though Life Cycle factor does not have any impact, ‘Lifecycle’ factor is considered for project selection.

Sampling Factor Values

Agile Scrum: Agile Lifecycle -Each release will have a set of sprints to be worked upon, also end of release marks end of the project. In a sprint, development of project will be carried out in cycles and in small portions at a time. Sprint will include the phases such as analysis, design, development, testing and demo after end of each sprint. Once the development is completed and it is ready to be released, build is deployed for UAT. UAT is generally conducted by Product Team and relevant stakeholders as required and final sign-off is provided
