Custom development
The R&D Center uses information technology and intelligent means to conduct comprehensive perception, integration optimization, and collaborative operation to achieve sustainable development of the economy, society, and environment. The R&D Center is responsible for the development of new products (services) and technologies in the fields for communication engineering construction and maintenance, smart transportation, smart medical care, smart parks, and smart communities. Some of the products include: Elderly care business supervision systems, security monitoring systems, pedestrian gate systems, parking management systems, electronic fence systems, and information data centers.
Type of Work: There are two types of work - (1) Custom Development and (2) Independent Development (1) Custom development follows standard industry customer contract and processes. Certain provisions of the contract may impose restrictions and constraints on functional or non-functional requirements development. (2) Independent development may have more flexibility such as for requirements development, lifecycle phases, acceptance and others. The way the practices are implemented in the above two category projects should be different in practice areas like EST, RDM, PLAN, MC, RSK, and VV.
