The Research and Development Center, previously the Technology Department, takes the responsibility of developing software by transforming customer requirements into delivered software product in the appraised organization. The software projects are run across the full life-cycle phases. The domain areas of the software products are most in processes in port operation and management.
Location: Work is done differently based on project customer location. Two types of projects are identified: Local Customer Projects and Remote Customer Projects.
Local Customer: The customer of the project is in the same city as the appraised organization.
Remote Customer: The customer of the project is in a different city from the appraised organization.
