We recommend that customers requiring CMMI for contracts and procurements request the following CMMI artifacts from Benchmark or Sustainment appraisals in Requests for Proposals (RFPs):

  1. CMMI V2.0 Appraisal Disclosure Statement
  2. CMMI V2.0 Final Findings Briefing/Report
  3. CMMI V2.0 Performance Report

These artifacts are required for all CMMI V2.0 Benchmark and Sustainment appraisals and provide detailed capability and performance information from the appraised organization, aiding in your source evaluation, selection, decision and award process, while also helping to manage your program's performance and risk.
