Toby Brown is Senior Vice President and Data Management & Insights (DMI) Head of Data Strategy, Architecture & Planning for Wells Fargo & Company. He is responsible for leading our enterprise data strategy work to define strategic data priorities across the company and translate them into enterprise data capabilities. Toby oversees the Data Transformation Program Office, which tracks and reports on the implementation of the enterprise data strategy, and the Data Ecosystem, the strategic planning and governance function for all data projects at Wells Fargo.
He also partners with Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) and other DMI teams to drive the strategic development and evolution of business architecture for data at Wells Fargo. A 13-year Wells Fargo veteran, Toby most recently was head of strategy for the Risk and Regulatory Data Program Office. Prior to that, he held strategic planning roles in several businesses across the company, including Corporate Risk, Personal and Small Business Insurance, Corporate Strategy, and the Technology and Operations Group.
Toby graduated from University of California, Berkeley and is based in San Francisco.
