About
Anvesh Dasari is Vice President in R&D for Efftronics and is responsible for bringing new innovative products. He has expertise in Design and development of Innovative products in the field of electrical, electronic, instrumentation engineering and software. He is actively associated with various associations & has served as chairman of Young Indian-CII, Vijayawada Chapter during the year 2016.
He is an Electrical engineer from Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA. During his education he had worked as an intern at DELL Computers, where he worked in the Office of CTO to bring in latest technologies in the field of personal computers.

Conference Track: Performance Management
To begin with, for us CMMI is a myth and hence we are hesitant to embark on our improvement journey using the CMMI framework. So far, we heard that CMMI models were successfully adopted in software industry, with measurable benefits. After getting to know about CMMI and specifically on the benefits that CMMI v 2.0 brings in we decided to adopt the CMMI model for our product/project development which has Hardware, Firmware and Software components tightly integrated. This paper presents a case study where we successfully adopted the CMMI framework to improve our Project management, Engineering and Support practices thus enabling delivery excellence and increased productivity in our projects.
