TIS Inc., has just become a Transition Partner of SCAMPI appraisal services, both for internal and commercial use. Originally established in 1971 as Toyo Information Systems Co., Ltd., the company adopted a new name TIS Inc. in January 2001 to mark its 30th anniversary. With core operations hinging on information services, TIS has become one of Japans leading providers of system integration services, substantially by consolidated net sales of 164.5 billion yen and operating income of 10.7 billion yen for fiscal 2003, ended March 31, 2003. The sales consist of software development (39%), outsourcing services (31%), solution services (26%), and others.
