About

Geoff has worked with the CMMI for 17 years, beginning at Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute and continuing through its transition to CMMI Institute in 2012. A CMMI V2.0 Associate, he is trained in CMMI V2.0 Development, Services, and High Maturity, and CMMI v1.3 for Development and Services. Additionally, he has participated as a team member on multiple SCAMPI v1.3 appraisals. Geoff has risen to the role of CMMI Quality Manager after six years of working as a Quality Analyst, during which time he reviewed or participated in the review of over 10,000 CMMI appraisals. He oversees the CMMI Quality team at CMMI Institute, which is responsible for protecting the CMMI brand through appraisal reviews, mentoring, audits, ethics and compliance investigations, and review of permission requests. Geoff is currently engaged in CMMI Institute’s adoption of CMMI through its Operational Excellence Team and is a member of both CMMI Institute’s Leadership Team and Partner Advisory Board.
