Assessing Data Quality to Promote a Culture of Quality

Conference Track: Managing Your Data for Peak Performance

Data-driven decision-making relies on high quality data. In other words, decisions made based on data will only be as good as the data driving them. Using industry research, root cause analysis, and numerous lessons learned, a process for addressing data quality in measurement data and process performance baselines was developed. This presentation will share the data quality metrics and processes that are being used to regularly monitor the quality of project and organizational data, as well as the improvements that are being made to ensure that data quality stays at the forefront of attention.

Measuring Improvement Using Innovative Process Improvement

Measuring the effectiveness of process improvement activities is a key component of quantitative and statistical management. This presentation will explore examples of changes to an organization’s processes that are good candidates for measuring improvement effectiveness. We will share the high-level process from initiation to conclusion, including control plans, monitoring/control of changes made, and examples of improvement effectiveness.
