Michael King serves as Halfaker’s Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer and is an experienced technology leader within the Federal contracting industry. He previously served at Halfaker as Chief Operating Officer. Michael's focus is on providing excellent technology solutions to Halfaker customers and providing the nearly 500 Halfaker employees with the technology tools they need to serve their customers well. Michael has a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from UVA, a Master's in Information Systems from Johns Hopskins, and PMP, PMI-ACP, and SAFe SA certifications.

DevOps is a complex, nuanced domain. A significant maturity milestone is leveraging DevOps to enforce quality early in the development life-cycle, preventing source code from being merged into a codebase without meeting quality gates, such as unit test coverage, static code analysis, and security analysis. This presentation will provide a simple framework and lessons learned from implementing this practice in support of Government (Public Sector) customers.
