Sensible Process, LLC, a licensed ISACA CMMI Partner, is offering the official Foundations of Capability course for students interested in learning the essentials of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). This two-day training based on CMMI V3.0 covers the concepts of performance improvement, the role of the CMMI in that effort, the structure of the model, the application of the model in different scenarios, the use of the model in appraisals, and the determination of maturity level ratings. Students spend significant time exploring each CMMI Practice Area and hearing the different ways the model practices could be implemented. At the end of the class, students are prepared to take the CMMI Associate Exam.

As the details of the model are presented, we insert various examples and “war stories” from different domains to emphasize the flexibility of the model.
