This is the official CMMI Institute course Introduction to CMMI for Services, Version 1.3, and is being taught by a CMMI Institute-certified instructor, David Quinn, from MOSAIC Technologies Group, Inc., a training partner of the CMMI Institute. Mr. Quinn blends model knowledge and industry experience with humor and numerous war stories to make the CMMI relatable to students.

This three-day course introduces participants to fundamental concepts using the CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC). The course is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions. After attending, participants will be able to describe the components of the CMMI-SVC model and their relationships, discuss the process areas in the CMMI-SVC, and locate relevant information in the model.
