Achieving High Maturity

High Maturity organizations use statistical methods and quantitative data to understand risk and predict outcomes based on past performance.

As a result of high maturity practices, these organizations consistently perform beyond their competitors.

This course provides foundational knowledge of CMMI practices and how to apply them within specific organizational contexts.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Explain the benefits and reasons for implementing High Maturity in an organization.
• Demonstrate understanding of how High Maturity Quality and Process Performance Objectives (QPPOs) are used as the foundation for conducting High Maturity activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of how to analyze process variation, and describe and apply techniques for creating, using, and maintaining Process Performance Baselines (PPBs) and Process Performance Models (PPMs).
• Demonstrate how High Maturity processes and related process outputs are implemented and used to manage and continuously improve performance in an organization.

• Self-Study - participants must conduct an in-depth review of the CMMI model, including the Overview, Appendices, and Practice Areas prior to the start of the course
• Precourse Elearning - demonstrate understanding of statistical concepts
