SPEAKER PRESENTATION
Conference Track: Integrating Models, Standards, and Methodologies
Our firm has implemented CMM/CMMI and ISO 9001 based process improvements for almost two decades, yet these improvements were against separate process sets and managed separately within the firm. The idea for process integration was always at the forefront of discussions, however full commitment for implementation did not materialize until recently. The promise of process integration had many exciting rewards, e.g., resource efficiencies, less confusion for users, yet, the adventure had many expected and unexpected challenges. This presentation will share detailed information about the process integration quest and the resulting lessons learned.
