The first priority of running a business is to make profit. One way to improve profit is to understand and manage your costs. One of the components of cost is Human Resource or Effort.
According to Thailand National Bureau of Statistics survey results in 2012 there were around 1,800,000 businesses and industries in Thailand, of which 81.3 percent are non-manufacturing sector where resource/effort is the key component of cost. Also, in 2012 the Thai Government initiated a CMMI driven process improvement program for organizations in Thailand. In 2016 the Thailand National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in collaboration with Global Process Innovation (GPI) Asia Co., Ltd. initiated the "Performance Index Thailand Benchmarkingā€¯ study. To analyze these resource costs across CMMI rated organizations and benchmark this analysis in Thailand against the rest of the world. In this presentation we will show you the results of the study.
