SPEAKER PRESENTATION

Mapping CMMI V2.0 to INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook V4

Conference Track: CMMI: One Size DOES Fit All

This session will address the need to communicate the new CMMI V2.0 to other process improvement communities and professionals from other disciplines and application domains, specifically systems engineers and the International Council in Systems Engineering (INCOSE). One approach is a mapping between the new CMMI V2.0 model and latest INCOSE Handbook V4, based on standard IS0/IEC/IEEE 15288: 2015. The mapping facilitates understanding of the scope of system engineering processes in the handbook. It identifies common areas and gaps between CMMI practices and Handbook process activities, and provides coverage percentages and analysis at the practice level, facilitating movement among other domains.
