For 25 years, TCG has provided IT and management advisory services to the federal government. A key to our success is a monthly TCG Internal Progress Report (TIPR) meeting designed to satisfy practices of the Organizational Process Focus (OPF) and Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA) CMMI process areas. In the TIPR, project managers meet with upper-level management to review high-level results of Project Monitoring and Control, Risk Management, Measurement and Analysis, and lessons learned. In this presentation we discuss the roles of OPF and the TIPR in addressing government contracting challenges of tight budgets, shifting political landscapes, and volumes of external regulations.
