Gabriela Arnold is leading the IBM Global PM&T Deployment Program, with 20+ years of professional experience and more than 10 years of international experience as program and project manager, senior consultant and CMMI HM Lead Appraiser.
On her previous role in IBM, she was responsible for the Global CMMI Program, helping IBM to become one of the first large scale IT organizations to be successfully appraised for CMMI-DEV ML5. Gabriela has strong project management and people management skills, with experience in both corporate system development and process improvement projects. Has lead multi-disciplinary and multi-country teams and managed human, technical and financial components

Conference Track: CMMI Adoption – V2.0 Experiences
IBM is one of the first large IT organizations to be globally appraised on CMMI V2.0 for Maturity Level 5. This high complex appraisal involved 34,000+ employees, 500+ projects, across 6 global centers and 14 countries, and covered both traditional and new age projects.
This transition has been highly enriching experience and demonstrated strength of the model especially in the context of projects in emerging delivery models and technologies. The presentation would be covering select experiences of quality transformation journey at IBM and how certain key practices are implemented in a practical way to drive continuous improvement and benefit to the business.
