CMMI V2.0 to CMMC Crosswalk: Translating CMMI V2.0 to CMMC

Conference Track: Security

The new Cybersecurity Maturity Model requirements may seem daunting, but if your organization has achieved CMMI v2.0 Level 3 then you have a head start to CMMC compliance. This presentation crosswalks CMMI v2.0 Practice Areas to specific CMMC Capabilities and Levels. Many of the processes and procedures that you have in place will be useful during your CMMC appraisal. Even the CMMC technical solutions require policies and procedures. Don’t recreate what is already working for your organization. Reuse and adapt for CMMC success.

NIST 800-171 Compliance for SMBs using CMMI Methodology

Conference Track: Methodology Integration

NIST 800-171 compliance can be very expensive for SMBs, especially those which don't have full time IT staff. Risk Management (RSK) can be a particular challenge. This presentation crosswalks between CMMI for Services & Development models with the technical practices of being fully NIST compliant. It also provides practical information to help SMBs achieve NIST compliance while using the CMMI framework for solutions and processes. The presentation will cover the Crosswalk between CMMI Dev & Services with NIST requirements, Gap analysis templates, Deconstructing the technical requirements into non-technical language, and Risk Management for compliance and business improvement
