He is principle author of the CMMI Institute’s “Guide to Scrum and CMMI: Improving Agile Performance with CMMI” and is a sought after keynote speaker, leadership consultant, and author whose career spans over two decades in the technology industry as a CIO, CTO, Dir of Product Development, Quality, and Support. He has served as Chairman of the CMMI Institute’s Partner Advisory Board for three non-consecutive terms, and is “Chief Evangelist” for AgileCxO.

In 2019, the Defense Innovation Board, a public-private advisory board made up of some of North America's biggest teach companies, called "BS" on agile contractors when it published their paper "How to Spot Agile BS." They blamed teams, not leaders, and offered no solution. CMMI V2.0, with its new GOV and II Practice Areas, can come to the rescue by bringing discipline, focus, and measurement to faltering Agile leaders.
