SPEAKER PRESENTATION

Taking a Leap of Faith: Can Changing Course Before Your Appraisal Be a Good Thing?

Conference Track: CMMI Adoption – V2.0 Experiences

Imagine you’re in the management team of a top defense organization. You already have your hands full with the demands from various channels. Now add to that, the fact that your CMMI V1.3 appraisal is approaching rapidly. How do you change course amidst all the busy-ness of your day-to-day? Wouldn’t it be easier to just not “rock the boat”? In this presentation, we’ll look at how the managers in this above organization took a leap of faith and re-directed their ship (or appraisal in this case) from V1.3 to V2.0 while they were less than 6-months out from their appraisal. We believe their journey will inspire others who are still mulling over the question: “when is the right time to migrate”?
