Tim Zeller is Director of Strategic Solutions and a Senior Consultant for Broadsword Solutions Corporation. He is responsible for the introduction of innovative service offerings to clients. Tim is a Scrum Master, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, and Labor and Employment Attorney. He is a consultant, trainer and speaker, specializing in Agile Transformation, APH, CMMI, ISO, and Performance Management. He has deep experience in the health care sector and with State and Federal government. Tim has been a CEO for several public sector corporations and lives in Michigan. He holds a degree in Management from University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor from Coley Law School in Lansing, MI.

The State of Michigan’s CMMI Journey began more than a decade ago. We’ve seen significant improvements, hit a few potholes, and are still quite a distance from our destination. It’s been a great ride and we’re still on the journey. This presentation covers points of interest and previews of coming attractions. Michigan’s State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE) is based on CMMI plus other models such as APH, PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, and VAL IT. We leverage an enterprise tool to report project performance metrics. Recently our journey was fueled leveraging CMMI’s PQA practices, Agile transformation, and benchmark assessments in CMMI and APH.
