About
Mr. Paul Iredale is the President of GPI Asia and he has worked full-time in Process Improvement since 1988. He is currently working as a consultant for Global Process Innovations and now Global Process Innovations Asia and for PI4PI. Prior to that, he was working for Reuters Ltd, as Global Head of Process Management and was instrumental in helping many of Reuters’ Development groups achieve CMMI Levels 2 and 3 in a short timeframe through a combination of regular assessments and extensive “hands-on” consultancy. At Reuters, he developed a generic Process Library framework and populated it with a set of consistent high-level policies, processes and software lifecycles. Paul left Reuters in 2005 to set up a process improvement consultancy with a couple of ex-Reuters colleagues. He thus become a Director and consultant with Global Process Innovations Ltd and have since worked with several well-known large and medium sized organizations, providing training, appraisals (mini- and/or formal) and consultancy.

Conference Track: Business Performance with CMMI: The Bottom Line
The first priority of running a business is to make profit. One way to improve profit is to understand and manage your costs. One of the components of cost is Human Resource or Effort.
According to Thailand National Bureau of Statistics survey results in 2012 there were around 1,800,000 businesses and industries in Thailand, of which 81.3 percent are non-manufacturing sector where resource/effort is the key component of cost. Also, in 2012 the Thai Government initiated a CMMI driven process improvement program for organizations in Thailand. In 2016 the Thailand National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in collaboration with Global Process Innovation (GPI) Asia Co., Ltd. initiated the "Performance Index Thailand Benchmarkingā€¯ study. To analyze these resource costs across CMMI rated organizations and benchmark this analysis in Thailand against the rest of the world. In this presentation we will show you the results of the study.
